He’s G. Zarazir, but when pressure arises on a movie set, calling for ‘Gaby’ takes less time.
Born, raised and permanently living in Lebanon, with the life goal of holding strong behind the camera when turning 140 years old (or the camera holding him, perhaps), he asked his mom for a brother as soon as he was able to express his needs verbally. Having a brother – someone of a similar age to have fun with – seemed like a brilliant idea, so he told his mom about it. She did not say anything but just nodded intently. He didn’t write a single page about the character he wished for – He hardly wrote back then. He left it all to his mom, and she did a great job even though she kept him waiting.
After months full of anticipation, his dream comes true thanks to the appearance of Michel. From that moment on, throughout childhood until today, they experiment in tandem – with jokes, ideas, and cinema.
Maybe their mom has always known that having two sons is a guaranteed fun; maybe she thought that two heads are better than one. Or, perhaps, there actually might be evidence for it, she (sub)consciously directed the story about two brothers, sons of her own, who became filmmakers.

He’s Michel Zarazir, but people use several titles to address him. He’s the Awaited Brother. The complement of the tandem. The other part of the Zarazir Brothers fake twin duo.
Truth be told, he’s not a fan of talking about himself. He’s not a fan of extensive talking in general either.
At first, he was angry at Gaby for taking such a long time to ask for him. Well, he might not like talking much, but he loves observing, and trust him, there was really not much to observe in the womb for nine months straight, so yes, he was in a hurry. His imagination was running wild, and he wanted to get out and see what was happening around him. He was luckily born into a joke-blooded family, so there always was and still is something happening.
The Zarazir Brothers have always been interested in mixing two or more contrasting ideas to achieve a new quality. A meeting of two distinct minds, approaches, sensitivities, and points of view often result in creating fascinating and ingenious bridges. Working in the Zarazir Brothers duo has proved that such bridges can also be built on the joint foundation of humor. Because no matter how similar they look, they were given different personalities and creative powers which happen to work well together. When they are not making art, you can probably find the Zarazir Brothers indulging in some daily geriatric care.

Yara is a film and news producer based in Beirut, Lebanon, where she enjoys her life to the fullest while developing and producing fiction and documentary films. And yes, she is always following the world’s breaking news.
Yara is always on the hunt for new stories and adventures in Lebanon and around the globe, even in places where it gets less than 8 degrees Celsius. Unlike water, she starts freezing way above the 0 degrees mark. She often looks for author-driven content, collaborates with the growing independent filmmaking scene in Lebanon and strives to give a voice for those of her generation. She carefully chooses the projects that mirror her beliefs, values, and causes.
Yara was born in 1990 and in 2013, she obtained her MA with distinction in production from Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) - where she met the Zarazir Brothers. Her first collaboration with Gaby made her break into his car at 3 a.m. in the morning. Later, she met the Awaited tandem, Michel, and started enjoying watching the fake twin's films and spending time with them.
Those who worked with Yara know how she tends to predict all possible situations while working on a film and prepare different plans, including a sudden trip to the moon.
